Could Dez Dickerson pulled off playing Wendy's role in Purple Rain? How do U think the movie would have been if Dez never left the band and was in his role as guitarist of the Revolution? I think U would have seen a cool bond between Prince and Dez especially going up against Morris and
Jerome. I bet there would have had a better fight scene than the one that was deleted!! Purple Rain would have had a truly different twist and flavor if Dez was there. What do U think? __________________________________________________

Dez&Prince were cool&you knew the Respect was there.but Wendy&the Rest of the Revolution had that Cold Vibe that not only worked with the Sound at the time but also the Attitude.all things in that regard fit the script well. mistermaxxx | |

Hell yeah it'd be different--and way different if Vanity was still there as well. It would have been another Mahogony, Lady Sings.., Car Wash etc for some folks, another Wiz, a pre Color Purple etc. Probably more gritty and less accessable. "Climb in my fur." | |
