Me neither, it's interesting to see how wide the variety of Prince fans is.

Shows that he truly was a 'universal' artist... and an all-embracing free-spirit.

Oh Wow, yeah you're right. I always remembered it as being a Liam "quip". And it certainly seems like something Liam would say. Mind you, they all seemed pretty pissed, and arrogant in that they were winning everything back then. I think his ego got the better of him that night

Noel Gallagher paid tribute to Prince on the day he passed away, if I'm not mistaken, by showing Prince's image (Purple Rain era) during the show and having the audience sing "live forever" for him. The footage is on youtube. He also tweeted:

"Heartbroken.
I LOVED this guy.
Can someone please fuck off taking all the people I grew up with!!!"

sidenote: I'm such a huge NG fan. The fact that he is now releasing an album that's an artistic leap makes me admire him even more. It's a princey thing to do - taking artistic chances and not caring whether people like it or not.

I've never heard any Oasis song except that horrible "Wonderwall" thing, which gets played by every hack open mic guitarist out there. Ugh.
