Interesting note about the Albert Magnoli directed video... the cinemaphotographer also shot "Every Time" for Janet, "Free Your Mind" by En Vogue, plus videos by Ice Cube, Whitney, U2, Santana, D'Angelo, Van Halen, Billy Joel, Alice In Chains, Sting, Paula Abdul, Pink Floyd, kd lang, Roy Orbison, Ozzy, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, the movie Set It Off, and more. Busy dude.

I would imagine those girls were no one in particular (ie: people already in the Prince camp, but rather just hired hands).

Don't ask me for the quote because I can't recall it - but the one wearing the top saying 'All this and brains too' was supposedly called Karen...Not sure if it's Karen Krattinger, P's personal assistant (as someone suggested) or a different Karen, who Robyn Power said was having a fling with Prince at the time (statuesque, blonde, sexy, apparently).

No idea, but I could always tell, even at the tender age of 7 when I first saw that video, that some of the Bat Men were also Bat Women. lol

Look closely next time you see that video and you'll realise this also.

—-It is another Karen that he was involved with according to Robyn.

They were Batgirls, yeah, I'd noticed that, too. The only male dancers were the Jokers, and I noticed they were dressed with the black shirt and green tie like the Joker in Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's Killing Joke comic book, instead of replicating Jack Nicholson's Joker wardrobe in the movie. And the "ALL THIS AND BRAINS TOO" dress was based on a TV news anchorwoman wearing that same thing on her blouse in Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Director Albert Magnoli had obviously read the comics.

Goodnight, sweet Prince.
