According to various sources Prince was fantastic at pool, bowling, table tennis and basketball... How did he find the time to get so good at all those activities? I got two sides... and they're both friends.

If you have exceptional hand/eye coordination, it translates well into the activities you listed. It probably didn't take him long to become good at any of those activities. And keep in mind, he learned his basketball skills as a youngster - well before he'd embarked upon his musical career.

Do you have sources on the ones where they say he was good at bowling and pool? Not heard those ones before.
Also btw- not to sound like an absolute weirdo but were you at the Steve Parke signing in Manc Dandan? I thought I recognised some orgers and I think I've seen you post a pic on here before now. I wasn't sure whether to ask tho. Some guy was saying everyone with an org account should out their username lol. I was the cosplayer I was at another event on the same day lmao

I heard he was an excellent table tennis but super quick and aggressive at calling fouls and possibly-disputed hits in his favor, LOL.

There's a bowling one from Latin's thread. The whole Parke interview is great. TM: Bowling with Prince! What was that like? SP: It was like playing with a pro. He could throw a strike at will. TM: Really? SP: It was Prince and Mayte, his wife at the time and Larry Graham and his wife and me. It was fun, Prince would pretty much strike every time. Everyone would clap and go ‘woooh’ and when I’d get a strike they’d cheer me and we’d all cheer for each other, it was really fun (laughs). It was two o’ clock in the morning. TM: That’s an amazing mental image, Prince bowling… SP: The thing is he didn’t wear the traditional bowling shoes. He had on these furry boots that start at the knee and go down, he wore those to bowl in. I guess the people that owned the bowling alley thought fine he can wear those.

The pool playing was recounted by Afshin, who also included some picture of Prince playing. All us Prince fans are a little on the weird side, don't you think haha?! I didn't even know he was having a signing, because I definitely would have gone! What was it like? Everyone should definitely wear tags with their Org name when at an event haha. Message me if there's an event coming up, it's rare I get the chance to meet other Prince fans! I got two sides... and they're both friends.

I was at the Steve Parke book signing with Morris Hayes and Morris talked about how Prince didn’t bowl right away. Several times they asked him if he wanted to and he’d say no (as he didn’t know how to) but he watched what they were doing and finally oen time decided to join in and threw mostly strikes.
