He butchered up a classic but then again he butchers up his own songs, especially live. Did anyone see him on Spring Bling on BET this past weekend? Talk about pitiful, he spent more time walking around the stage thinking he was the shit & yelling at people than singing that Godawful "Hell Yeah" song. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Comparing this to Parade makes no sense IMO, because that album was much more "live" than PR (except for maybe Mountains, and that sounds just as "dated" as WDC). Umm PR was 'LIVE' it was not recorded in a studio, only WDC was not. I know what you mean. I meant the sound of it, because I think that PR sound less "live" (because of the drum machine sounds). | |
