Oh, yes! Prince would have played an excellent juvenile delinquent, I believe, walking through in his sleep.

*Sigh* We missed it. Hollywood missed it. We only have our own imaginations left to process the notion of delightful starring roles for the guy. That kind of career trail probably would never have worked out with him for long, though. I hear that film acting involves lots of waiting around near a set for the action to happen, and that would've likely been/was too much time for him to expend on one thing that was not music-related.

^You got that right! I did some amateur acting in a local play last year and yeah, we spent more time waiting than actually playing our part!

I could see him sink his acting teeth into something along the lines of Lucious Lyon, the character that Terrance Howard plays on 'Empire'. Prince could pull it off.

I can see him in The Aviator because y'know he was kinda like him (protagonist role) The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

I think he wasn´t really as bad as people say. He just left a bad impression because UTCM and Graffiti Bridge were marred by other factors (change of director, bad screenplay, too many changes in the script etc.) but if a talented director and a good writer had worked with Prince at some point in his career, maybe even during his later years, the results could´ve been good to great because he was a very disciplined, hardworking person who was also a movie buff. Sure, he wasn´t one to take directions from others but remember that he had a lot of respect for people he admired artistically (Larry Graham, Stevie Wonder , Nile Rodgers, etc.), and I´m sure he would´ve worked fine with a director he liked. At least he should have done some cameo roles. Quentin Tarantino in the mid to early 90s (before Prince stopped using profanity in his lyrics and before Quentin went over the top), or maybe Martin Scorcese. Wasn´t he interested in working with Scorcese during the early production phase of UTCM ? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
