^ I think you'll find he uses an augmented inversion of the second chord during the solo too.
Aside from that - spot on. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

They need to learn to read music, or know it enough to play by ear. It's the easiest thing to do with a pop song. And frankly I have a feeling it's the same user, under another name, who constantly asked for sheet music because he couldn't figure out Prince songs, despite being in a band and being a Prince fan. What's he playing...the radio??
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

If you think the vast majority of musicians would be able to pick the chords used on "Electric Intercourse" by ear correctly you're simply delusional.
I haven't yet tried out the ones suggested in the post above, but if they are anywhere near correct, well, the poster has done exceptional job.

Not everyone is blessed with an ear for such things. I can't even pick out a melody by ear but I can play something if I have the sheet music. RIP |

Bah! who needs fancy chord names. Play it by "ear"! isn't it just a simple I-IV-V progression? LOL
