Two years ago, Madonna was serenaded by Prince

On a side note, I think "Love Song" is one of the more underrated song in P's (and also Maddy) catalogue.

It didn't help it was included in the "Like A Prayer" album because it doesn't fit well with the other tracks and for Madonna fans it was maybe too different and strange to be really liked (more "Prince sound" than Madonna, let's say it).

I think it now would be regarded as a classic if it was released as a duet standalone non-album single.

I was at that Madonna concert. Wish I would have thought to drive by Paisley after. She said she was really pushing through being ill during the show, having woken up with a fever (leading into an impromptu a cappella rendition of Fever), so an afterparty at Paisley didn't even occur to me. Then there was the fact that I wasn't even sure they were on good terms.
