Is it possible to organise a wedding at PP? Can you have a wedding ceremony there? Does anyone have an experience with that? I can't find anything on their websote unfortunately. full lips, freckles, and upturned nose

I'm guessing it would have to be on a day the Park is not open to the public. I think they are closed on Wednesdays? So you'd have to convince the bride to get married on a Wednesday. Or worse - you'd have to convince the bride's mother to accept a Wednesday wedding. Good luck with that!

The OP is a girl so she wouldn't be looking for a bride. NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT. But despite my best efforts, she has a boyfriend

I doubt they would allow it at this very early stage, if ever, but you never know. They would provably have to charge a lot or suddenly many people would want to do the same, and it would change the nature of the venue. However I have a feeling Prince would have "no objections" about this at all.

You could have a lovely outdoor wedding on the grounds of PP in the warmer months. It never hurts to ask. Follow the rules they give you and it could become a popular site. People's Organics might also help arrange it since they are the official caterer. Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I suppose we'll have the most private ceremony ever, because I'm bad with crowds. Besides, I would have troubles with bringing all my friends and relatives to the ceremony, because I and my boyfriend live in two different countries and I couldn't fly everyone to the US. Likewise, I can't imagine flying his family and friends to Eastern Europe full lips, freckles, and upturned nose

I live in Detroit, and (at least here) our museums and even our Detroit Zoo can be rented out for private events.

Please be sure that your day doesn't become about Prince and stays about you and your husband - I know this sounds silly but if you love Prince enough to marry there, be sure the excitment of having it at PP doesnt overshadow your day as a couple

You could do it renegade style - have the preacher and all your guests buy a ticket to After Dark, do some quick vows just outside the NPG Music Club room, get pronounced, and voila, you already have a DJ and the guests can order food from the kitchen there.

For money anything can be arranged these days. But how tasteful is it do such a wedding? Would you really want to be near his supposed ashes at such a moment? Them tapes are elsewhere. The murderer has not been found yet. Plenty reasons not to do such a wedding there.
Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

And do they do weddings there? I'd say it's probably more likely than Paisley Park what with it being a live venue whereby it's possible for one to book it for private functions. I couldn't say for sure if they have weddings there but I don't see why not. It might be worth looking into though because you could hold the wedding and the reception at the same venue.
