Mono is annoying but snippets just piss me off. So, this is an improvement in my opinion.

Guess the "elite" have to maintain their status even when they leak...

This is the willingness of collectors to leak songs in this form....they own the Full Stereo version most of the time !

The mono is a little frustrating but I'll still take it with open arms and a big smile and thanks.

It's a great track, I have a mix cd put togther years ago I was sent with songs he gave away from 1986-1989 and always thought what a great album it would have been if he had given all the songs to one artist or maybe released it himself. From that CD Cool Love was always my favorite. Now this version with that outro is even better.

Yes, and it helps to really hear what he was trying to do musically in different periods

I noticed the 1988-89 stuff had a more stripped feel to them and then with a lot of overlays of sound

and sometimes with a touch of what might be sounds from 1985 like Madonna's Love Song

I'm wondering: I was always under the impression that there was a cello on Sheena's version ans I can't hear it on Prince's: I can hear the same note but it sounds more like a synth, however it could be just that the difference in sound quality gives me the feeling that the same sound sounds more like a synth on P's version and a cello on Sheena's. However both official credits and Princevault indicate Prince/joey Coco as playing all instruments, therefore excluding a real cello. Am I crazy?
