Went to discount books records and magazine store... There I found Emancipation and Come for two dollars each. They were in very good condition with their booklets and all. I went to eBay to see how much Emancipation is selling for these days. They start off at 20 bucks to 40. Come doesn't sell that much, maybe 20 dollars. I was glad to have another copy in my collection nevertheless.

I go to thrift stores all the time and check out the books and the cd's. I have found many books that were worth alot of money and some have even been autographed! I'm still hoping to find a copy of Vanity 6 and/or The Family on cd.....

Oh man that would be awesome to find vanity 6 or the family on cd. I found the family screams of passion maxi single on vinyl a few years back.

I recently found In Romance 1600 on CD for just a few bucks, as well as The Scandalous Sex Suite. One of our local record stores always seems to have a few copies of Emancipation for about $13 on average. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

i once found an old boxing book that i sold for 500 bucks. and i've got a couple others that have autographs. I don't see a whole lot of prince stuff usually, I don't need it usually, sometimes i'll need a replacement for some album that i ruined or a cd from an era where i had the tape or vinyl. I saw Purple Rain in there a while ago and skipped it, i just bought the warners rerelease. I rarely see books on prince, i did manage to get the jon bream book which was selling in the hundreds after p died, i wouldn't sell it though. I never ever see the assct. acts like the time in the cd sections. at best i'll see a cd like a rosie gaines cd from after she left prince.
