'Look At Me, Look At You' - Simply AMAZING I have been a fan of Prince since '83 and think HNR P.2 is a masterpiece start to finish, especially 'Look At Me, Look At You' - any other lovers of this song?

"modesty aside, whoever made u should be praised", I love that. I didn't listen to this song until after he died. Bitter/sweet whenever I listen to it now. I sure do miss him. Never will see him live again. klick

His last true classic as far as I'm concerned. So glad we got HitNRun 2 before he died. Really strong album. blah blah blah

Song is extraordinary. Superb! Worth noting that Prince could do something like this - create a gorgeous, slinky groove so effortlessly - so late in his carrer. Reminds me of the stuff on Emancipation. Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

"Even RayyyyyyYYYYYY CHARLES COULD SEE! Stevie Wonder can too! Heart goes out in wonder, thinking about me and you!"
I generally don't like mellow Prince, but I love that line!
The way he sings it is cool.

That whole record is pretty good, if a little softer than I'd like most of the time. I find myself listening to it a lot and am impressed with its consistency - something prince wasn't always great at. There's a breezy sort of feel to it, no real clunkers and a distinct lack of really sharp edges but some rather deceptively good songwriting.
