'This sound good? The reason is Scottie'... Pro-shot P&M? Haven't seen this mentioned.
Scottie Baldwin, Prince's audio engineer(?), posted a 20-odd second video on Twitter of Prince performing during the P&M tour, giving Scottie a shout out for the sound. Hundalasiliah!

It's always been unclear to me exactly how many shows were pro-shot (i.e. multi-angles), but I'd bet that the great majority of post-80's shows were. In any case, you can be certain that, at least beginning with the PR tour, several shows from each tour, and a good number of aftershows and one off shows, were. Strangely enough, after all those years, I've never read any definitive statement from people "in the know", regarding whether all shows were pro-shot or only some. The played about 40 minutes of the gala perf of P&M at Celebration. It was good enough for a professional release. That's the quality of the video. In terms of Prince's performance...I have no words. Out of this world.
