Not sure if word has made it out: This symposium was proposed and funding approved before Prince died. The idea was to award an honorary doctorate and commemorate his 60th year. Prince knew about the doctorate. Although the University of Minnesota doesn't award this honor posthumously, they've made an exception since it was already in the works before Prince's death.

It has already been awarded to him. It was announce after his passing. I am confused as to what you are talking about

"Thread bumping" is the act of posting in a thread, with the sole goal of getting it back to the top of the thread list. Some people thread bump because their thread wasn't noticed during a busy time, while others bump threads just because they want to.
