From the Vault song listings it shows that Prince only recorded these songs in the year 1980:

18 total songs of which 8 were released on DIRTY MIND and a few others released as b-sides. For anyone else this is a prodigious amount of output but for Prince - who routinely wrote and recorded up to 50 or 60 songs a year (for example, the Years 1983, 1986, 1987, etc.) - I am thinking that there has got to be dozens of songs this year that aren't known...

Without a doubt, yes

As we have seen, there are many recordings that were not known to anyone in many years. 9-5 People and the Deliverance album some of them. Coco Boys wasnt even known if it was an actual song before its release.
