By my reckoning, there's about two weeks worth of videos for WBros to release...perhaps not even that. They have Gold and then I can't think of a video for any of the single releases from Come or from any other WBros release. What then?

Do you think they'll start to release the long format videos? Perhaps dig back into the back catalogue and start releasing some of the live material (That's if they own it...) I'm thinking of the '86 hour long Parade Tour video, The Undertaker, the various Gett Off videos, etc...

What are people's thoughts? Are we on the verge of completeness or do we think WBros may get creative?

Seriously? How about "Dolphin"? Or http://www.princevault.co...th_Delores ? And there are videos for "Eye Hate U" and "Purple Medley", but I don't recall whether those were ever officially released.

Shit, yeah - sorry - forgot about Dolphin. Thank you. I suppose they could put I Hate U and Purple Medley out, couldn't they - I don't recall A Question of U having an official release. Thanks, Bart - mother memory playing tricks on me again.

Given that it's the "Prince" channel I don't think it's so much a matter of rights as much as a matter of having access to good quality copies of the tapes.

I don't think the intern in charge of the channel at WB is going to go any further than whatever was catalogued in their standard music videos archives (however those may be organised), not that WB is going to make a high priority of this project (after all the channel, as it is with already dozens of videos, is as good a promotional tool as they come).

But who knows, we may get good surprises

the single TMBGIW wasn't on WB

they could put up the rest of the videos from the 3 chains O Gold release, Peach, Letitgo, Gold, Eye Hate U, I Like It There, Dinner With Delores.

This is where my train of thought was going - you see, yes those videos may exist but are they the prooperty of WBros - Dolphin, perhaps - although, the only place I seem to remember seeing that video was in the Prince shop in Camden. The other videos...? Were they promotional material funded and owned by WBros or by Prince for his tours?

It would be terrific for WBros to now start uploading some of these videos - including the Beautiful Experience, The Undertaker, 3 Chains O Gold, The Ryde Divine, etc...And, yes it would make a wonderful Friday for Violet the Organ Grinder to see the light of day again...

That's the question - excusing my bad memory and lax research effort around which videos exist (ooops) - although I can't recall seeing a video for Letitgo or Space (that doesn't mean they don't exist, obviously,) - I wonder where the channel goes from here?
