Underrated Prince or Prince and Rev demos eventually recorded by others.. Here are some I am totally in love with that don't get much love...
101--Prince's is haunting, Sheena E's a real barnstormer...love em both Telepathy--Deborah Allen, I believe is her name..online there is P's demo, her version and her story about how he gave it to her...I like his the best, but she ain't bad.
More known but some of my favorites (mostly written with female sexual longing in mind, it seems..) --G-spot --Sugar Walls --Nasty Girl

I wouldn't classify Nasty Girl or G-Spot as "eventually recorded by others", because Vanity 6 and Jill Jones were just extensions of Prince himself thru side projects. However all the songs you mention are classics, little doubt about it. Check the instrumental version of Telepathy from the 7", it almost sounds like a Madhouse track! "So Strong". But part of the charm is that Girlsongs are sung by women. The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter

I suspect that if Prince had released the Sex of It in 1990 himself it would have sounded very like the Kid Creole version, he was moving that way with it anyway. [Edited 10/5/17 12:08pm]

The early 90s were full of songs like that. I Hear Your Voice The Voice The Undertaker Allegiance Open Book Love Thy Will Be Done Well Done All of these together would have made a much better album than anything he released by himself between 1989 and 1995.
