I always liked The Ride because it reminded me of a deep south blues song, not rock. But anyway, what about Peach? The first time I heard it was in concert in 1993 so I guess it doesn't make the cut since it was written prior to that, oh well cry

Yeah, it would sound great on here. But I'm trying to cover everything after The Hits/B-Sides.

Maybe I could use a live version. Hmm.

My rock MD got kinda stalled cuz I do not have a kewl version of The Ride (the CB version is edited so rudely)and because I relasied that most of the rockers I liked were from The Gold Experience.

I must admit that my tape is from his entire carreer and is somewhat more guitar orientated than it is about rock. In this way I could include the live version of Just My Imagination.

No rock tape of Prince should do without Bambi.

...yeah, or this bad-ass Family Name performance from Le Bataclan! You were so right with your report back then.

Which version of "Sarah" did you include? The "Vault" cut
or the unreleased on that was on "PastPresent&Future" boot?

Cos that boot version rocks a lot more than the released
one. It has the guitar much higher in the mix. It's cool.

Might I also venture to ask why oh why is "Empty Room" not
on your tracklist??

:O

Either the 1995 version or the new live version would've
been a very cool inclusion.

Here's the one I made to play in my car when I go out on
saturdaynight. I need it to keep me awake on the 1.5 hour
drive back home.

DISC 1>>

04. dolphin
05. I like it there
06. 3rd Eye
07. bambi [nighttown]
08. whole lotta love [celebration 2002]
09. loose!
10. papa
11. tangerine
12. something in the water [celebration 2002]
13. when U were mine [ona album]
14. joy in repetition [ona album]
15. empty room 95
16. Nagoya

DISC 2>>

01. endorphinmachine
02. calhoun sq
03. don't play me
04. baby knows [extended]
05. same december
06. honkey tonk woman
07. the place of ur man [celebration 2002]
08. chaos & disorder
09. the ride [undertaker version]
10. poor goo
11. when will we b paid?
12. habibi
13. zanalee [chaos album version]
14. the undertaker
15. when eye lay my hands on U
16. xpedition

Actually, I burt all of these as a 32 track setlist with
an appendix " The War " in mp3 format on 1 disc so I'm
not sure about running time or anything when you'd burn
it onto two seperate discs.

Sarah I've since gotten rid of. I don't have the version you speak of. And Empty Room went on a ballads disc.

Your set is very, very nice though. Like it lots.
