A friend of mine came up with this limerick a few years ago. I realize it's probably treason, but doesn't it still kind of strike a chord ?

"The artist once known as Prince
On stage used to posture and mince
Changed his name to a squiggle,
Just for a giggle
And nobody's heard of him since..."
