Some greats choices, some which I'd also pick but I'll leave off my list, so off the top of my head: . 1) And God Created Woman - timeless classic IMO, love his ad-libs on this 2) It's About That Walk - love the live band sound with horns and his humour on this 3) The Exodus Has Begun - yes MF yes, could have picked a few songs from Exodus 4) Acknowledge Me - great MPLS sound synths 90's style, and cool rap 5) Man In A Uniform - like the different voices he uses like the soldier 'attention!' 6) She Loves Me 4 Me - simple and sincere 7) If I Was The Man In Ur Life - like the the way the music/lyrics of chorus go together 8) Time- love Andy's voice on this, the bass and synth/horns at the end 9) TicTacToe - some silly lyrics and dolphins but love the dreaminess 10) When She Comes - nice Al Green tribute and you can't beat a bit of double entendre . There's so many could go on and no... Its About That Walk is such a cool jam. Perfect example of an underrated Gem.

Lots of great ones in the OP that I agree with, Black Muse (one of his best of all time), F.U.N.K. - killer. The Future though, man that is one of my top 5 favorite Prince songs. It is just spectacular. Play it on a great system and crank the bass - it just grabs your soul. Super, super, super funky. Those sped up funk guitar chunks, creepy synths and strings. Man I can just never get enough of that song. Bob... Ain't dat a bitch?

Fenwick said: It's been while since I played in this sand box. It would be fun to see what lesser known songs other people revere. Not necessarily a steadfast rule, but I'm going to mostly stay away from the golden years because they're kinda sorta all gems...
1 - Black Muse - Total masterpiece, master class track. Two songs in one with a gorgeous soulful vibe. In some ways it's heart wrenchingly beautiful that he was still making special tracks like these at the end of his life. The second half brings me to tears. And it's not even that kind of song..... "There ain't nothing better than looking for me..... and seeing you in the mirror"..... In no particular order: - Black Muse - For the same reasons as Fenwick - Venus de Milo - This song is so pretty. I love the jazzy vibe. It showcases his skills on the piano. - Colonized Mind - I think this song is a masterpeice. His political and social commentary is razor-sharp. For example, he sings "a two part system, the lesser of 2 dangers, illusion of choice." The guitar work is excellent, and compliments the lyrics and his voice perfectly. It's my favourite track on Lotusflow3r. - Live 4 Love - This is one of my favourite tracks from D&P. There are insightful lyrics from both Prince and Tony M., great guitar work, and a really good scream on there too. - Let's Have a Baby - I love the beauty and simplicity of the piano. His vocals are gorgeous. I know he goes a little off track at the end of the song (second verse), but I still think that this is a strong track because it is so passionate and heartfelt. He was so in love with Mayte, and he expresses his love so beautifully in this song. - Temptation - I think this is the song that best expresses the tension Prince felt regarding his love of sex (non-marital) and his love of God. I feel like he puts his inner struggle with sexual temptation out there for everyone to hear. I love the rawness and vulnerability of this track. There is a great scream and awesome guitar work. - Do It All Night - This is my favourite track on Dirty Mind. I love the falsetto, the funky vibe, and I just love to dance to it. - Willing and Able - For the same as reasons as Fenwick. And Fenwick, don't be sorry about choosing 2 tracks from D&P. - Sweet Baby - My favourite song off of . I love the uplifting lyrics, such as "the road you choose to walk in this life is the one that leads into the next." I have loved the song since I first heard it, by the lyrics never made complete sense to me until I read The Most Beautiful and Mayte talks about some issues she had with other members of the NPG (namely Diamond and Pearl talking sh** about Mayte behind her back). She didn't say that SB was specifically about the context I just described, but the song makes more sense with that context. - 4 The Tears in Your Eyes, acoustic version - This is a beautiful song about Jesus Christ. I love the Biblical references, and the acoustic guitar and falsetto are a gorgeous combination. [Edited 9/9/17 22:53pm] Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above

Love your list.
Look At Me Look At You is definately one of those songs!! It's beautiful and i can't stop playing it.
Solo is magnificent.
My Computer is so good, overall The Emancipation album is very overlooked. If i have to pick one of the many good songs, i would pick this one.
Breakdown is classic Prince. It deserved to be a comeback hit for Prince.
