I agree. This song is an okay "album track" but it should have never been released as a single. It's kinda bland and uneventful. Why didn't he release the kickass title track ("Lovesexy") instead?

If you are choosing a song based on radio airplay...most of them have been somewhat ignored by radio...not bland enough (except for "the most beautiful girl in the world" which was a piece of overproduced contrived crap...perfect for today's top 40 stations )

Aaron - I'm pretty sure that SexyMF went Top10 (possibly even top 5) in the UK - it was all over the radio, just with the "language" edited out (which, of course, sounded ridiculous).
Glam Slam is my top contender. Bombed everywhere. And for those of you who think releasing IIWYG was a bad idea - well, shut-up with all that record-sales, chart placings bullshit!!! That was a BRAVE attempt by Prince to get a challenging, interesting record out in a time when bland MOR was the order of the day (um, no change there then!). Yeah, Prince, rather than being the risk-taking maverick lunatic we all know and love, it seems some of your fans wanted you te be Chris Rea after all! ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

Not in the UK - there was a radio version that the word 'fucker' replaced by a little guitar line. Sounded a bit weird at first, but it got quite a lot of air play, both on radio & MTV. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
