Prince's favorite show--loving it

I have been binge watching New Girl on netflix (starting with season 1)... I am now about 5 episodes into season 3. Funny show. Much dirtier (lots of sexual innuendo) than I thought it would be.

Interesting...I've never seen it but I'll give it a try!

I'd be surprised if it was really his favorite show.
He knew there would be huge ratings after the Super Bowl, so he made sure he was on that episode -- with a record to promote.

He said it was the only show he watched. He knew the producer. He was supposely very acknowledgable about the plot and characters and approached them to be on the show. New Girl is not exactly the most watched show on television. I am sure he could pick a different show to latch onto in order to maximize the superbowl connection. It sounds like he was killing two birds with no stone. Why can't this show be his favorite?

Yes, there was.
The single was released within a month.
.
It's not a coincidence that this show followed the Super Bowl on the same network.
It got the shows highest ratings ever.

I believe that Pretzelbodylogic had just been released and Fallinluv... Was rushed-released a few weeks later after it got a fairly good reception on the show. If he had wanted to promote a record he would have made it available straight after the show was, not a few weeks later.

Never seen the show, apart from the Prince episode, but since you mentioned "sexual innuendo," I guess it would make sense that he would like this show so much. lol

One can only guess if Prince was really a fan of the show. I used to watch it, but then the character line of Winston--the Black man of the group--got weak and the stories weren't as funny.

storm mad storm Seeing Prince on there was coo' tho'!

Maybe I'm old school (or just old) but I don't get much out of the humor on these newer shows.
I'll take Archie Bunker any day. biggrin

I hope you're right,it's bloody awful. I liked the episode with him in it but it's just dire.
Saw an old episode of Frasier and Zooey Deschanel was in that and just as shockingly talentless but strangely self satisfied as she is always is

I like the show and thought he was great in it, but I must say that I'm surprise it was his favorite show.
