Late 90s Sermons Remember that aftershow in Lisbon from 1998 where Prince told the crowd their hands were trying to kill them? I wonder if this is something that'd been weighing on him or if he'd just seen Evil Dead 2 for the first time. (I'm sure it was just a cigarette intervention, but he said some crazy shit sometimes.)

Track it down and listen to it. The speech is during Anna Stesia, I think.

Ah, Pook! Gonna have to look that one up, otherwise... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

More details, what? I'm not trying to be cryptic here. I have it on an old raggedy boot called All Access. I've seen it jammed into a few other collections of shows from the New Power Soul Festival Tour. I dont know what theyre called. Prince delivers a sermon in which he tells everyone that their hands are trying to kill them by feeding them donuts and cigarettes. It's bizarre. Matt Thorne mentions it in his book, if I remember correctly.
