But yes, the NPG were far technically superior, but the revolution had that certain je ne sais qioi.

Which NPG? Because the NPG that featured KJ on drums was not as solid as the current rendition.

Between these two, definitely The Revolution. They could jam and hold the groove for hours. Too fuckin' funky!!! The current NPG are definitely good, but they just haven't jammed enough, in my opinion.

Ultimately the best backing band he ever had is the SOTT/Lovesexy band! They could groove like the Rev and were just as technical and structured as the current NPG. They were absolutely THE BEST!!!
