yes i have had one since he passed. he was really tall, played basketball for a living it seemed and was extremly extremly calm and centered. and had an afro, his age seemed to be about 35.

woke up.

I've had many dreams since after his passing. Many messages, advice, music. Sometimes about other people, friends, and many things he tells me have come true.

I've had many Prince dreams over the years. Sometimes about the state of the world and what needs to change, sometimes that it is too late to change that events are going to happen and there is nothing we can do to stop them, and one from 1999 in which I was lying in my bed, it was dark, and suddenly my room changed and there is a fireplace and candles lit, incense burning, and as I look around trying to figure out where I am, I see Prince standing at the foot of the bed. He crawls up the bed towards me, leans over me, and then whispers, "I can't be here right now..." and he's gone and I'm right back in my bed, in my own room. The tease.

In another one, I was actually meditating and suddenly found myself in an all white marble room. White marble floors, white marble columns, white marble fireplace (huge fireplace). There were these floor to ceiling windows, and the only color in the room was from some plants. Facing the window was a long white couch. Someone was walking towards the couch (I was looking at the person from behind) and they were wearing a white house coat. As I appeared, the person paused kind of while walking, and then continued forward and sat on the couch. The did so in a way that I couldn't see their face. As I started to draw closer to the couch, suddenly Prince looked up and over the back of the couch right at me, smiling. It shocked me so much that I snapped out of there, but not before I heard him laughing at me. Twas very strange. I'm putting in the dream section, because it's possible I fell asleep while meditating and it was just a dream, or it's possible I wasn't. This would have been end of the 90s early 00s.

i think dreams ease our inward grief and provide a nice counterpoint to pain.

they definately are. When I was five, I was spending the night at my grandmother's house and my mother dreamed that I was on the phone, telling my mother that my grandmother was going into shock (diabetic reaction) the phone woke her up from the dream-- it was me calling to say my grandmother was going into shock...

back to topic: I always dream I'm walking up to him and hugging him- and he's so small...
