Actually football and basketball was his first love and career choice when he was a kid, read Alex hahns book possessed his childhood friend paul Mitchell talks about him trying out for the football team but the couch never put him out on the field because he was short.

It is a very interesting how some people can have 1 extremely strong passion or talent and they are able to go head on into it.
And others can have 2-3 great passions or talents and either have to make hard choices to choose which direction to go to or sometimes 'life' sorta chooses it for us.
