Just Bought Love Symbol @ Best Buy This is 2 funky! I have heard most of the tracks b4 but I had never spilled the 11.99, it was well worth it... This CD has so many good songs, Blue Light ( my new favorite ), Morning Papers, Sexy MF, The Continental, Seven, 3 Chains o Gold, My Name Is Prince, And God Created Woman etc. Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. Oh, yes. This album holds a special place in my heart. D&P and  were the first two albums I bought with my own money (camp counselor, my first job!) 
I used to play "And God Created Woman," "3 Chains O' Gold," and "The Sacrifice of Victor" on repeat incessantly. I don't care what anyone says, "TSOV" fucking ROCKS! Ooh! Here I go again, fallin' in love all over

GREAT CD...nice choice! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I used to be, too. Now I LOVE EBay! You don't even need a credit card for most sellers, ya know. Just make sure you're willing to pay what you bid, and you can find some awesome deals. A while back, I bought "UTCM" and "Sign O' The Times" on VHS together for 13 bucks including shipping! And it's really fun to get stuff in the mail. Ooh! Here I go again, fallin' in love all over

I guess I'm taking the contrary position here. This is the Prince album I listen to least, and when I say that I include things like NPS and his first two records.
I think that 2/3 of the album is absolute SHIT from a song-writing standpoint, polished by some of the greatest arrangements he's ever made. I'm sorry, but you can't get me to like '3 Chains of Gold' or 'Wanna Melt With U' no matter how interesting the instrumentation is. | |
