Oh yeah mine definitely goes beyond legit

over 1000 trying to correct some for doubles and some of the weird so called "songs" on the work it set

Yeah

My Prince folder is 185.4GB. No idea how many files but I rarely keep lossless as I can't hear the difference once you go past 256kbp MP3. It's a lot of files but there are a lot of concert boots amongst that.

on my mac, just about every official release and a lot of bootlegs and live shows, haven't even gotten to listen to all of it.

I have 1343 songs, released and unreleased stopping around 1996

I guess nobody still burns 'em on CDs like I do.

This question made me wonder if anyone has a list or a spreadsheet with all the Prince's songs (probably with Prince Vault as reference) and is marking the ones he already have to know how many, that we know of, are still not circulating.

I tried to download some songs to my Amazon music Library and it told me I currently had 699 songs on it and that I couldn't download any more. So definitely much more than 699! I cant even use my Ipad anymore due to storage... due to prince... I just had to buy a new computer due to storage... Due to Prince... LOL

. I do. My Land Rover doesn't have an iPod jack or BlueTooth, so I've made special CDs for the CD changer. . I just received a new 128gb iPod for my other car, because my old one is full. . I've not counted the songs because they are split between iTunes, Amazon, Windows Media and download folders. .

I've got four different Ipods. The oldest one--a 4th Gen is 15 or so years old. Paid a guy 20 bucks to check it and install a new battery. It works like it's brand new.

Wow, that is alot of material considering you stopped at 96. I guess we have different taste because some of old bootlegs and leaked songs I am not into as much as some later released music. I have been playing Dionne, Extraordinary, The Other Side of the Pillow, Comeback, She Loves me4me, and One of Your Tears alot lately.

I have 327 songs but they are all legitimate and official releases. I listen to bootlegs and watch concert footage online all the time but I am too chicken shit to download anything illegally. I watched the 1st avenue performance of computer blue three times today though. LOL.

I do, but I buy them, rip them to network storage and then the cd case goes in the loft.

132GB. 4802 files 395 folders.

Got tons of live shows and quite a few live shows on video/dvd rips which bring the file size up. Most songs are in mp3 format with only a handful of flac/wav files. Im like Englishgent, can't tell the difference really so I would prefer to save my HD space and bandwidth when downloading. My biggest problem is my filing system is shit. One day i will tidy it up but it is a daunting task.

I know, right? All this talk about GB, I have over 2TB. Still working on sorting and deleting duplicates, but, even if HALF were dupes (and it's not THAT much), I'd still have over 1TB.

I burn them all on cd's. I rip them to my library, put the original disc back in its jewel case and put that on the shelf where the collection is. I use the burned ones in the car. No way do the original discs get used after the intial copying.
