The story of being asked to grab and starting playing a banjo at random in the studio on the day of the recording has been told by Sheena Easton for years. I believe it is recounted in Nilsen's D.M.S.R., among other sources. Some portions of the additional instrumental tracks in this version can also be heard less audibly at moments in the album and Long Look versions of the song. This is most likely a slightly unedited version of the album take, perhaps toyed with (that is, re-edited) by the leakers (but without actual fakery).

I always get a chill when I hear the extended portion of a track for the first time. Cool leak, this one. I don't hear anything fake about it. Remember your first time hearing the extra verse in "The Beautiful Ones"? Whew! Anyways, I'm surprised that this version doesn't include the longer intro, which I assumed was always part of the track and left off the album version (the middle part of the Long Look was obviously added for the 12'' mix). Of course, if it's been edited by the leaker, then there you go. Still though, this is very cool to hear.

I think there's a banjo underneath the synths.

I'm not sure if the plucked sounds after the "my turn" comment are a real banjo or a synth though. Could be a banjo with some effects.

This is an interesting leak. The extra instrumental part grows on you. Such a shame the quality is not on par with other leaks from the era but beggars can't be choosers.

I may be imagining things but I can hear some banjo notes from the 4:25s mark and after.

Was worth hearing once but this isn't really a keeper. Electic Chair Instrumental #3 is though.

My least favorite song on SOTT so dont think I need a longer version
