You're right; its snow. But is it black or plaid that looks better in the snow. Neither really makes sense to me.

Plaid is very midwestern so maybe it's that. But black is the "opposite" of white, so I could understand it being black as well. The saying "Yah you know" seems very Minnesotan (imagine it pronounced with the long Minnesota O). Classic Prince humor if you ask me.

I love this song. It makes me feel happy. Makes me wanna dance and sing. I love how it goes off into an instrumental jam at the end - like in Eggplant - kinda psychedelic.

Maybe because it might be on Dream Factory? I don't know, but it puzzles the heck out of me.

He also did some work on it in the summer of 1985, so it was a track he returned to a couple of times. It was never on any album configurations (that we know of), though.

Wow, this is Prince at his most 80s white guy synth pop. It reminds me of Do You Dream in Color by Bill Nelson and Devo's Through Being Cool.

I truly couldn't find it when I looked. Whether I had a typo (I think I had Y U in there) but whatever.....I can always count on SOME of the admins to be either smart** or elitist. Anyway, I found it and enjoyed it.
