biggrin Good question!!!

It's putting you further away.

This is supposition here but I thought in 2014 that Prince resigned with WB in order to release the Vault material from 1978-1996 and it would come in the form like we saw the PR Deluxe.

L. Londell McMillan, Prince's attorney and long-time business partner who now is a business advisor to three of Prince's half-sibling heirs and Charles Koppelman had structured the deal for the estate, earning themselves 10% commission. A lawyer for McMillan replied caustically in a counter-filing: "While perhaps culturally interesting (though factually incorrect), Jay-Z's view of Mr. McMillan is not legally relevant, other than to note that Jay-Z himself is competing for rights to distribute Prince's music".

.

It was revealed that UMG were to manage Prince's NPG and unreleased recordings back in February. "We stand by our work".

.

The judge said he allowed Universal Music Group's attorneys to see the Warner Bros. But Warner Bros disputed that account, saying a contract it signed with Prince in 2014 guaranteed those rights for longer.
