Another MJ, JB, and Prince Thread! Thought you guys would appreciate this.
I have a friend who happens to be a big MJ fan. He's always trying to convince me of MJ's superiority. Please! Anyway, he just sent me an email which contained the following: "i purchased another jacko album, love him. i also downloaded something that will interest u. its a 1983 live james brown concert televised footage, thing is, james brown invites jacko from the audience, he comes up, sings a line and does a dance, then, jacko asks james brown to get prince onto the stage, which james brown does. so prince comes up, fucked off his face, makes a funny noise down the mike, takes his top off, plays a few cords on a guitar, then goes crazy and claps to the music and pulls down a bit of the set. prince is strange." I'm sure he wont mind me sharing it with you. It just made me think of you guys and the 'hundreds' of posts we've had on the topic. It's also interesting to register a non-fan's take on the incident, and Prince in general: "so prince comes up, fucked off his face, makes a funny noise down the mike" "Prince is strange."  "London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

Both Cats are Musical Genius who got alot of Game from the Godfather of SOul JB.but on that Tape MJ was Scary! He truly fit JB's Style&Flavor to a T.I wish MJ would show that side of himself more because it's there.Prince never moved away from the JB concept of Conservative Funk. mistermaxxx | |

I just saw this tape of Michael Jackson where he looked like a zombie-no it wasn't Thriller or Ghosts it was an interview on ABC. The man is talented, but can an MJ fan really genuinely think Prince is strange??? "New Power slide...." |
