. The correct answer is in between A and B above. An article I recently read said he played it about 1,450 times in concert. . That's probably x concerts x tours but probably comes very close. . Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me. |

According to setlist.fm, Prince played PR 1007 times. I doubt they have every setlist he ever played, so yeah, 1400-1500 seems legit. | |

. 5000? Seriously? Let's do some raw math, shall we? The song was around for 30-odd years, so that makes an average of 150 plays per year, so once every 2.5 days. Does that sound realistic to you, considering that there were years where Prince didn't even tour? © Bart Van Hemelen
