LOVING LOVING this song! Especially knowing that it was a gift for Vanity and that she played it before shows (according to Jill)

I went back to my itunes and saw I had a version of it from Crystal Ball boot, which sounds similar (maybe missing one of the synths) but it says prince & miles davis???? Is that just a mis tag?
I'm not sure about this boot but I had the Crucial boot back in the days and the whole shit was also credited to P and Miles, going as far as to include a Miles track on it from one of his 80's album (with a fake title and the sound quality trashed for good measure ), but the only thing featuring Miles was, of course, Can I Play With U?. Obviously, the same happened with your CB boot: just lame bootleggers' marketing. End of story. |

Interesting to see so many people with a preference to the 1983 version. I agree.
The latter one always seemed to go on about 2 minutes longer than it really needed to. But the 1983 one is just a groove that charms through it's simplicity. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain. |
