Sorry but this is not a cover, it's mimicking.

The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose
Don't Ever Lose Your Dreams

Like he said, it too close to the original. They didnt put their own stamp on it which kind of mkes a good cover. And to dp so with Adore is nearly impossible. There is this cover of Strange Relationship by W Ellington Felton thats top notch and 'different'

"Climb in my fur."

Muse covering SOTT is also what I would qualify as a good cover.

I would even find redeeming qualities to Tom Jones/Art Of Noise's "Kiss", because at least they didn't try to replicate the original note for note. They're good singers, no doubt. But there's no point in photocopying.

Poor WDC gets the worse treatments on Youtube. Each one of the candidates omits the major dominant. They all go A-G-G-A, A-G-G-A, where in reality its A-G-G-A, A-G-G-G# (implying M).

Even though I’m not a big fan of any covers, this is a very nice cover. While I do like when artists are able to cover/remake a song in a way that shows me something about the song that I didn't initially recognize, I also like when someone simply reminds me how good a song is. Also, I hate when some artists try to be extremely “smart” and remake a song in a way that completely changes or loses the integrity of the original song.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about this cover by a college music ensemble: https://www.youtube.com/w...ah30Dvs11A

BINGO!

I think this is an excellent COVER and that they did a fine job. I was actually surprised that someone could achieve this, it was my first time enjoying a cover of one of his tunes so much!
