March 23, 1980 - Rick James "Fire It Up" Tour in Detroit. While I would very happily take any full show with Prince as the opening act from that tour. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |

First Ave benefit concert '83, Montreaux '09, Atlanta PR era '85 (I think), PP P & M '16. And sooooo many more, but those just for starters. Very 1st show outside of Paisley....Emancipation Celebration...Right after the Rosie Show he played the Tower in Philadelphia, baby died ....only things he said was " going to turn negativity's into positivity's" & " look at him".....guy took his shirt off in the balcony....other that that he had the eye of the tiger & played mad all night.....Wore the same green turtleneck/ pants & White Symbol jacket as in other spots/ Chris Rock interview etc.....deflates all the " he never wore the same thing twice" chirpers lol.....girl I went with asked me " does he ever change his clothes?" lol. | |

If my memory is correct, he wore the orangey/red feathery hat at the aftershow of the night of 18th August while in the 14th September (am) show he was dressed in his white outfit and no hat.
