Dirty Mind vs 1999

I know 1999 was supposed to be all partied out album, but personally I think Dirty mind puts 1999 in the box. From The first track of Dirty Mind to the last of Partyup I swear I be dancing up a swear like I gotta purple holy ghost or sumthin', dayum... "We don't want to fight no more, you gonna have to fight your own damn war" Pretty much sums it up... Which one would you rather prty too, you prty people

Y dont we just play boths albums, then we skip "gotta brokem heart"and "free". We would have a great party.

An entirely unfair question, because both albums are different animals. Dirty Mind is more of a punk inspired album, 1999 is more of a dance album.


And if you don't believe 1999 was creative and innovative, I don't know what to tell you. Commercial success doesn't preclude music from being either creative or innovative. Don't let the zeitgeist fool you.
