With all these leaks coming out, I figure it's worth asking: Has anyone heard the electric version of "Welcome 2 the Dawn?" I saw someone online say it was used as the "hold" music for the 1-800-NEW-FUNK phone line.

The acoustic version, for me, is a highlight of the Crystal Ball set. Wonder what the electric version is like? Do elite traders have it?

I LOVE the acoustic version.... so if the electric version ever comes out, I am expecting my head 2 b blown off.... figuratively speaking, that is.

I've played that song a lot, mostly acoustically but sometimes plugged in. Man, I cannot imagine that song sounding any better than the version Prince released. It's just sublimely great, especially on a 12-string guitar.

But if anyone can do the unimagineable, it is Prince! So I'd like to hear this, too.

And while I'm waiting, I might just try to see how hard I can rock this song. I'm still in awe at the way Prince took the original "Guitar" and turned it into one of my favorite rock songs ever! That's the template.
