Lack of quality control on 12" vinyl re-issues

One thing I noticed when comparing the 1984 vinyl 12" of Let's Go Crazy / Erotic City against the 2017 vinyl re-issue - a weird glitchy noise at the very end of the song rather than the original fade-out.


Can someone else please check their vinyl 2017 re-issue right to the very end of EC, so I know it isn't just my imagination?


Usually I don't bother listening to the re-issues, but maybe I'll start testing them out more often.


Edit: the 2017 re-issue of Purple Rain / God 12" also sounds super crackly.
