What would Prince have thought of Revolution reunion? I think in his heart of hearts he would be cool with it. I'm seeing the Revolution in SF tonight and am so psyched! Prince will definitely be in the house tonight. #asrealasitgets | |

Well, we know he and the band were in early talks to do a possible reunion set of shows. So there's the answer. "  don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r." |

I can only think he would be extremely proud of what he and they accomplished. I attended the concert in San Diego.The fams were so kind and loving,deeply knowledgeable regarding Prince and his music. Many of the people in line with me had visited Paisley Park and shared their stories with me. I think he would be very moved by the depth and permanence of the love he inspired. | |

Not to mention since 2012's reunion @ First Avenue, he knew they were going to start doing that more often. Prince was 100% on board with them. | |

Considering that the nature of Piano & Microphone Tour was introspective and Prince's tone was often wistful about his father, acknowledging the contributions of Wendy and Lisa, Dr. Fink and others from the January 21st gala and on-he probably would have been less resistant to the idea of the members reuniting but would have elected to let Wendy, Lisa, Bobby, Matt and Mark have their shine. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR | |

Don't think he would have cared overall. He may have had some conditions but considering they already performed as a group, I don't think a reunion would have bothered him overall. He may have chosen to NOT be involved in the reunion however.

I saw them last month and it seems that they are doing this tour mainly for the fans( my take away) to have a musical way to process and that it's Up to us to keep it going, the "it" Wendy spoke of I took to mean, the desire to still imbue these experiences with his spirit. We all got to take away part of him that he gladly gave, now how will we give back. | |

Well the Time always toured, the Family did too Prince never took the Time or the Family to court nor did he sue them So 4 all 3 of you above, where is the logic in this? and the band prior was Prince & the Revolution, so for them to tour as the Revolution would most likely not have been an issue either

dude, how much do you think the tickets sell for? Tickets on the Purple Rain tour in 1984 went for what 30 dollars? Selling out arenas, but it was the album sales back then that really made the money not so today. So let's see... They have to pay the venue for use, they have to pay the lighting person, technicians etc 5 band members plus Stokely (maybe Susannah) how much do you think they are RAKING in?

I certainly hope they are making some good money from the tour. That is business 101, making a profit after all expenses are paid. They're only touring "for the fans" is a great show of solidarity, but they wouldn't be touring if they weren't making money off it, or at the very least setting up dominos for something to come (residency, maybe???). The show is great, it's well performed and arranged, and the crowd is certainly getting their monies worth, at $40 to $80 a ticket. I think Prince would have liked the show. | |

The tour this summer is very well done with great energy & spirit. It's pure love for Prince. . I don't know what he would have thought, but I know what he does think -- toward the end of the set, after all the highs (Mountains) and sublime moments (SISIA), I saw clearly Prince looking down, with that doe-eyed, teased smile. "..free to change your mind" | |

. In a recent interview, Wendy's already said they're barely breaking even, IIRC. . Prince fans have this preposterous idea that anyone doing anything related to Prince is making mucho dinero. © Bart Van Hemelen
