Somehow I doubt MJ would be offended by people calling him Jacko because sadly he's dead. I think it's more about certain fans who get triggered and easily offended by anything that in there own minds is an insult to MJ. Why care what other people call him? In the end his music is still the same and people are allowed to call anyone whatever they want.
Of course it's just a coincidence that MJ died on Geroge Michael's birthday which was the same date that Prince signed with Warners and the same date Purple Rain was released. And another coincidence that George Michael died on the same day as James Brown died which was on Nimrod's birthday & Prince died on the same day as Jesus. [Edited 8/15/17 13:01pm]
Wow. According to this site Jesus died on April 3rd http://www.ncregister.com...r-revealed
Coincidences like these can be created with almost anything. Or maybe not.

They used that term when Michael was alive, he said himself that he felt offended by the use of that term.

I know, but like I said I don't think he would care NOW. But it seems the only people who care or are offended by it (not disrespect) are oversensitive fans who should have better things to worry about.
What Neversin said wasn't offensive and honestly everybody knows and identifies MJ with the word Jacko, were not talking about the N word here or something. If you don't like the word just ignor it.
Not at all, who's everybody, anyway? |

well maybe not everybody, but most people who are aware of MJ know he was called Jacko in the media, so they likely identify him with that and probably think nothing of it like Prince being called His Royal Badness and all his other media names. |

I don't agree, but let's back to the topic here: Purple Rain Disc 2. |
