Today, Judge Eide's Court posted a number of documents, including a transcript of the probate hearing that took place on May 10, 2017. This is the hearing during which attorneys for the siblings were requesting that Judge Eide decide whom the heirs to P's Estate would be. The transcript is 103 pages long. I think the transcript is kind of interesting to read.
and on page 73 lines 6 to 11 inclusive he says this:
THE COURT: Let me stop you there. I as a judge don't care. I as a judge am very concerned about the amount of attorneys' fees that are building up in this case. And I think if we can funnel it through one entity and do things in a smooth, orderly fashion, the heirs will all benefit in the end
---Well Comerica is getting a flat rate so that may help some. It is obvious that certain lawyers took advantage of the stituation.
Perhaps Bremer is still filing motions due to Comerica's investigation of the Tribute concert and Tyka's claim of mishandling?
Could be but I dont know who they are referring to as Second Special Administrator? Are they referring to Comerica because Bremer said in the Motion/Order this is relating to the "potential" appointment of Second Special Administrator. Maybe they are going to appoint another Special Administrator to investigate the Tribute Concert?
Comerica has been addressed as Personal Administrator (or along those lines). Bremer has always been referred to as Special Administrator. This has got me wondering now. The misconduct claims may be why there is a need for a second, but Judge Eide is really concerned about costs to the estate. He has been very vocal about it. A second SA would just be more expenses.

How about just having law enforcement look into. Seems like fraud, theaf, and a little extortion. [Edited 8/4/17 6:13am]
I had to go out for work today, and in the car I was thinking about all of the money he gave away in his last 18 months or so. Just the way he wanted it to go. He took care of those he wanted taken care of.

I think that is the way Prince wanted it. I think he disbursed a lot of money when he was alive and well.
That would be totally in keeping with how he'd been doing it right along. I know people think that he was wrong for not making a will. I have no doubt that Prince knew exactly what he was doing and the lack of a will was intentional. I have no proof of that, but it completely fits in with what we all know about him.
Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end

Totally fits and in character. It gives me some comfort.
The Roc Nation website states:"Renowned activist, CNN commentator and two-time New York Times bestselling author, Van Jones, has joined Roc Nation as an exclusive management client."
So it looks like he is paying them to support him. Nothing wrong with that, but it clarifies the relationship imo.
Having said that, I would love it if there is indeed a purple connection to the causes that Van fights for.
I also hope Prince disbursed as much money as he wanted to people and causes close to his heart, before he passed.

Van addresses this very thing.
mmhmm. Things got me thinking. Didn't he want to build a hospital or clinic for kids on one of his properties?
The same history books that talk about Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, for example. In a similar but not the same fashion: Kurt Cobain. Nirvana changed music, but what people remember is the gun blast. I personally don't know one person whose first thought of Prince is "great music" - they all think "drug overdose." They don't care why or how: that is the period at the end of that sentence.
YES, 1Sasha and that's why it's so sad when juicy threads that try to paint a more nuanced picture of Prince get locked We who loved/love him are trying to put his behaviors/choices into a kinder/gentler context...we're not bashing him. I try to thrash out a more loving narrative specifically to counter the 'dead, druggie rock star' story. To me personally, the most stupendous story EVER in rock and even popular culture is how this rejected, semi-poor, not formally educated, tiny, sexually confused/ambiguous, genetically compromised, kid from Minnie had the vision and determination to re-create himself as a sexy, wealthy, gorgeous, successful, world-famous, musically astounding "Prince.' BUT, to tell this tale , one cannot ignore the darker aspects..they are the truth, too.
That is sweet they way you described him . I think the sexy was always there though.

I read an interview yesterday with Lisa, and she said The Revolution want to be a part of the review and release process for the music they made with Prince. Who would know better than them what to release (or not release)? No one IMO. But part of the problem is possibly what will also affect the Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington estates: what is organized, how to handle it, who or what owns it, etc. It takes time, I know, but the music has to be on the air, on TV, in movies, for him to last in the public eye, and not just in the hearts of fans.
What we really need is all the post Come albums available on all platforms. Who is working on that?!?
I do belive that this is where the REAL Treasure is..
P often said, "Yall arent ready for this "
and I am beginning to understand what he meant...
his Post COME albums are almost too clean for the Youth of Today
Can it really be that difficult to get TGE, 3121 or LotusFlow3r up on Apple Music or Spotify? It bugs me that you got iTunes and if you didn’t know better you’d think Prince stopped making music after 1992.
mmhmm. Things got me thinking. Didn't he want to build a hospital or clinic for kids on one of his properties?
He may have re-thought the whole thing but he did mention it in the May 2000 interview. It's cheaper to align with an established charity and your dollars go further than to build infastructure from scratch. (Might be a double post since my Internet connection was "interrupted").

Who's he? Prince or Van?
Yeah Prince worked and trusted to some degree others to do certain things.

Prince wanted to build the hospital, so it would be Prince who might have re-thought it.
