I wonder why the RIAA hasn't certified THE VERY BEST OF PRINCE multiplatinum yet!

From what I saw it sold almost 3 million copies in the US by now.

Just guessing...maybe besides you & 12 or so others no one really cares?

It's if the record company wants it to be ceritified... TVBOP sold over 3 million in the U.S. alone, last time Purple Rain was certified was in 1996 and was at 13 Million... I bet you it is at least around 17 million mark and will continue to sell with the recent PR DELUXE... If that's the case, and it was recertified by the RIAA Purple Rain would surely be in the TOP 5 biggest selling albums in the U.S. of all time.
