She might have had braces as a child, as her teeth are near perfect; however, I've never read that she has veneers. Even dating back to her first album, UnFresh (2009), she seems to have that same megawatt smile.

Thanks Latin. I like her spirit. The fact that Prince was drawn to her in his final years is consistent with the view of his own growth. This woman could probably hold her own with him in terms of humor and intellect, and she had her own artistic strivings as well. No sex toy was she .

As far as the teeth comments, interesting the commercial before the segment was for teeth inplants. Was she a product placement ?

In a recent DrFunk podcast with Marcus Anderson they discussed Andy's talent as a songwriter and DrFunkenberry said Prince talked about it all the time-so sounds like he was pretty impressed.

I watched this interview again and for someone who allegedly was one of his last lovers/girlfriends I didn't sense a lot of emotion from her. I know it's been a year but still... Rogifan, perhaps Andy is staying away from all the drama as her way of coping with P's untimely demise. It cannot be easy for a young lady of her age to experience such a loss so early in her life. She disclosed that she cries. Let's not be too hard on her. It must be overwhelming for her to deal with the loss of such an icon. Here is what she said in a recent interview:

Q. Prince was such an influence on you, and now you’re doing all this great stuff. Do you ever get sad that he’s not seeing this?

A. Oh yeah, I was crying in my tour bus the other day. It is sad, because I feel like all this cool stuff is happening for me, and something he really loved was me playing acoustically and singing. “When you do that, that’s you.” When he would say that, I wasn’t ready to hear it then. It was one of those moments, when it was like “I don’t want to hear this right now. I want my big band. I want the horns. We’re doing funk right now.”

When I first met him, I was playing guitar and singing. That’s how he knew me. Through our journey together, I learned about big bands and playing with horns and how to arrange lots of instruments. He was always that constant reminder, “Play guitar and sing. It’s beautiful when you do that.” That’s one of those memories I was reminded of after losing him. I wasn’t ready when he said it. Then I thought, “I need to just go back to beginning.”

I think, at times, Andy is still very emotional when discussing Prince. I also think she is naturally good-natured, so she is just being herself. Remember, for the first few months, Andy was visibly distraught. She smiled through her Music Mondays, but her sadness was palpable. Not to mention the change in her appearance. I think chopping her hair off was directly related to P's passing. And, since his transition, she's almost always dressed in black, the color of mourning. In another nod to P, she often wears the black fedora that Prince was wearing, along with Andy's clothes and boots he wore because his luggage was lost, during their Le Grand Journal performance in Paris. Lastly, I can only imagine if Andy were crying during interviews about Prince. Some folks would probably tear her apart and accuse her of theatrics and attention-grabbing. She can't win.

P. S. She quietly, without fanfare, canceled her tour date on April 21. I'm sure that is not accidental. Andy is a class act.
