Printableyou wouldn't know he felt that way from his extremely bad reviews of AOA and both HIt and Run albums. I don't know maybe a one star review for a PRince album is like 3 star review for everyone according to Bream. Or maybe he just doesn't like "pop stars" as much as rock stars.
Meaningless accolades in my opinion when his reviews in the last fifteen years say otherwise.. (very few decent albums deserve one star imo).

i didn't know about his recent review, i only know he's an early prince watcher and hometown guy, also, not that his opinion means everything, i always thought Prince was the best all around but not in any single category. either way it's freakishly inhuman to be so good at so many things. No one comes close in my opinion. there are many multi instrumentalists who sing and write great but they don't move like prince, then there are guys like james and michael who move better but aren't so good on instruments, or guys who play a better guitar, piano or bass but who do nothing else of note like a santana.
