Sorry perhaps I should not have responded to you directly but instead in general I am being attacked on this thread which orginally was about Abigal. I will go back and fix my comment however, I still do not see why everyone who thinks this was not a simple o.d. is labled a nutter (leaving Abligal out of the equation) My comments about your agenda are directly related to you and your varies post on this board and some of your response to my post on the board.

The point I'm offering for consideration is that, when someone summarily dismisses another simply based on how that person "appears" without trying to hear the message being offered it sets a dangerous precedent.

Why?

Well, if dirty, babbling throngs trying to explain a seemigly unbelievable tale of ovens and death camps had been ignored...Um...The Holocaust.

If this were a similar throng of tattered Blacks...escaped slaves may not have been believed...

There are countless episodes in human history where folks trying to tell a truth looked real "crazy" and irrational and red faced and screaming and disruptive...But history has shown that they were telling the truth about what was going on.

To ignore what she's saying simply because you don't like the way she is delivering her message is silly and immature...A mature person can see past the aberrant behaviour and appearance to hear her message...Then, having received the message, decide if you believe it...But to not hear the message cuz it wasn't delivered to you as if you were in a lecture hall is silly and entitled.

In addition, it's a mistake to think that all mentally unstable folks are stupid and/or liars...Which implies that all mentally stable folks are honest and/or intelligent...There are arguably as many in one group as there are in the other and many variations...But in order to know that, one has to listen and critically assess.

This was one of the plot points in a movie based on the disappearance of Eton Patz...From the beginning, a woman keeps calling police telling them that she saw the lil boy next door, but because she added that she was "having tea with Jesus", they ignored her...By the end of the movie the one cop took a chance and guess what?...The unstable woman was right, the kidnapped boy was living with her neighbour...But because the police had ignored an "unstable person" who had hallucinations, it took over a year to find the missing child.

That's all I'm saying.
