31 years ago today - Prince at Cobo Hall I was there 31 years ago today at his birthday party, Cobo Hall concert, Detroit, he turned 28 and put on a classic, classic concert. I'll never forget him lying on the atage floor singing, all the fellows call me Prince, all the ladies call me "Electric Man", as I remember, although I may have forgotten the exact words, but the concert was one of the best I ever saw of him, and I attended plenty of them. Love you forever, Prince.

Yes, yes, YES! Prince showed up and showed out in the D that night! When he was on the floor, making everybody wish they were that microphone, he said, "All the men call my Princey. All the women call me Electric Man". I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

yasss...don't forget the funky toothbrush dance in Head too! This and the Livesexy concert made me realize how much Prince blows MJ out of the water on performance.

Oh wow, you were actually there ! I'm so jealous right now Although I wasn't there, this is one of my favourite Prince concerts. It was broadcast 31 years ago on a French TV channel (if I'm not mistaken). I videotaped it back then and I played it so many times I completely wore out the tape...

Love you forever, Prince. Legendary show. On August 18th that year, I was about to see him live on stage for the first time. Fond memories. 'Liberate My Mind'
