It's OK if you don't own much Prince stuff, but who here out of all the "fans" actually bought it just for the sake of having it in your collection? I did, but only cause it was part of a "3 for US$15" deal, so I bought two Stevie Wonder albums, and there was nothing else worth getting so I got TVBOP (sorry Prince!)

Why would you buy it? Every Prince fan has all the stuff anyway. For non-fans, it doesn't have an ideal tracklisting.

want to hear what they sound like on this compilation
you could just burn yourself a cdr in 5 minutes, but I
haven't even done that. Not interested.

The artwork is criminally bad. Even worse than The Vault.
Especially the inside booklet is a monstrocity

Yes. Although I should take them to court for false advertising. Look closely at the track list I will see that instead of Rebirth of the flesh, In a large room with no light, Moonbeam levels, The beautiful one, Condition of the hart, Gold, Bambi, Dance with the devil and a whole host of other great tracks you actually get a hand full of short edited tracks from the 1993 hits box set + Money don’t matter tonight.

You do get some nice pictures though. I only bought it because there was a slim gap in my shelf.

I didn't buy it, but someone who knew I was a Prince fan gave it to me for free, and I gave it to someone else, who didn't know all of the 'hits', since I had all the songs there already...

My Mom owns a copy. But if you wanna capture the trueset essence of Prince, you gotta get The Hits/B-sides.
