Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories - Prince In case ya didn't know...
Comedy Central is playing The Dave Chappell Show episodes off and on all weekend. You can find all of Dave's episodes on their site, and through the CC app. The Prince episode was aired last night, and repeated around 3am this morning.
If you've only heard about the episode and story, but never actually watched it, you should. Dave's show really pushed television comedy. The Prince story stands on its own. Charlie's stories are the highlight of the series.
The Prince episode is Season 2, episode 5.

I remember that! It was cool that he pretty much verified the bigger details of the story were true. (I'm sure he wasn't calling people bitches, but the braggadocio was there.) I'd been ages since I'd seen the whole thing all the way through, so it was cool to see it again.

I was in high school when Chappelle's Show was popular, and I own Chappelle's Show seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. The True Hollywood Stories sketches along with Moments in the Life of Lil' Jon are some of the best sketches on the show. There are also some great musical performances, by the likes of John Mayer, Common, and numerous other musicians. Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above |

A bit of irony - Cee Lo was the guest on the above mentioned episode.

In addition to the Charlie Murphy stories, the Chappelle skits about Oprah had me rolling on the floor. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

OMG! I NEED TO SEE THIS! I will have to dig up a list of episodes and look at the descriptions. I knew there had to be more than Rick James & Prince stories.
