As an album as a whole, AOA flows much better in concept...
However imo the stronger songs are actually on HitnRun Phase One, HARDROCKLOVER, 1000 X's & O's and JUNE are stronger than anything on AOA im my opinion.

*I'm not even trolling at this point. I genuinely like H&R better. Better songs, I even like the first track.

1000 hugs and kisses trumps them all but its old. But hardrocklover feels a bit incomplete. June is the best of the new songs.
AOA took a while to grow on me. I think its songwriting is more consistent.

Does anyone think June should have been on AOA? It seems like it belonged there.

AOA by a large margin. And yes, the tone of June fits with AOA well but may have made the LP almost too downcast.

Phase 1 is the worst Prince album, does that answer your question? We're here, might as well get into it.

Art Official Age is a masterpiece! Some of the songs could even fit with the best of his 80s catalog.

AOA It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I don't skip anything on Hitnrun Phase 1, so that wins for me. There is some great stuff on AOA though. RIP

I loved Hit n Run P1. It´s impossible for me to put my phones without dancing like crazy to this songs. The only ones I skip are Million$Show, Fallinlove2nite and Mr Nelson. And June is a masterpiece, this song won me by far.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I prefer Art Official Age. HnR albums remind me of mix tapes by a genius, but AoA sounds like a proper album. Lots of hits for me... Clouds, Breakdown, Time...

That's what happeneds when you let Paul Anka be your spirit animal.
But my vote is for AOA. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
